Hello everyone!

My name is Mi Isabelle Trinh (Misa for short), and I currently reside in Long Beach, CA. Originally from the Bay Area, I am studying Communications at CSU Long Beach.

I started taking the next steps in my art career to become a tattoo artist July 2021. It was definitely scary and intimidating at first, but taking a glance at my portfolio will show how much I’ve learned and improved in my style while apprenticing. As of December 2023, I graduated my apprenticeship and became a full fledged tattoo artist!

I’m so thankful to everyone at Oni Tattoo for taking me in and providing the validation and support that pushed me to be where I am. I’m thankful to all of the other tattoo artists who have helped me and listened to me when I struggled with something (or myself). Most importantly, thank you to my friends and family who have unconditionally loved me and believed in me even when I didn’t in myself. I love you!

Pursuing art has been something that I have struggled with a lot, but I am so happy to have the opportunity to create and inspire everyday!
